Ms. Yun CHENG is the patent litigator and patent attorney of chemistry department. She is specialized in patent relating to biotechnology, bioengineering, immunology, molecular biology and in vitro diagnosis (IVD), which includes patent filing, prosecution, reexamination, invalidation, IP administrative and civil procedure.

As a patent attorney, she has started to provide patent service in our firm since 2012. She is good at gasping new knowledge in a short time, proactively helping clients with patent searching and patent mining, protecting technical scheme from different levels and angles. At the same time, when faced with official action, she is capable of keenly detecting flaws, searching evidence as well as offering effective defense strategies. She is experienced in coping with complex patent cases. As a litigator, she has been involved in all phases of patent reexamination, invalidation, administrative lawsuit, and civil lawsuit.

She holds a Master’s degree in Biology from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biopharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University. Before joining our firm, she was responsible for pre-market evaluation and pre-market approval on medical apparatus and instruments as well as IVD reagents at Beijing Municipal Drug Administration.
