Intellectual Property Frontier learned that recently, the German Federal Patent Court made a ruling on case numbers 4 Ni 13/23 and 4 Ni 16/23, announcing that the corresponding patent DE602007044579 of patent EP2068582 (named "A switching access method and device based on random access channel") in Germany was invalid due to lack of creativity, and ordered the patent owner Ox Mobile Technologies to bear all litigation costs.
